Two years at Atlantic College in Wales, followed by a gap year, ignited Tannis' passion for international learning and experience. After obtaining degrees abroad from Cambridge University and the University of Chicago, Tannis worked in eight different countries as a consultant in the areas of international development, tourism and the environment for government, non-profit and NGO/INGO clients.

Tannis co-founded Verge Magazine and the Go Global Expo in 2002. She has managed most areas of the organization, and her work has taken her to all seven continents. Tannis is constantly impressed and inspired by the global community of travellers and learners who work towards making the world a better place, and is always honoured when they choose Verge to be part of their community.

Éléonore Durocher-Bergeron

Éléonore Durocher-Bergeron est responsable du programme de stages internationaux pour les jeunes (PSIJ) chez SUCO et cumule différentes expérience de coopération volontaire en Afrique de l'Ouest. Diplômée de l’Université du Québec à Montréal en relations publiques et de l'Université de Montréal en coopération internationale, elle a été coopérante en marketing social dans la filière du karité équitable au Burkina Faso, a appuyé l'organisation du Sommet africain en économie sociale au Mali et a réalisé des diagnostics organisationnels dans le milieu communautaire au Sénégal. Éléonore possède aussi une expérience en employabilité auprès jeunes après un passage de quatre ans à Emploi-Québec, bagage qu'elle transpose dans son quotidien en appui aux stagiaires internationaux. La professionnalisation de la coopération volontaire lui tient à coeur; elle appui et collabore à un programme de formation en coopération internationale à la Faculté de l'éducation permanente à l'Université de Montréal.

Éléonore Durocher-Bergeron

Éléonore Durocher-Bergeron is in charge of the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) at SUCO. She graduated from Université du Québec à Montréal in public relations and from Université de Montréal in international cooperation. She was a volunteer in social marketing in the fair trade shea sector in Burkina Faso, provided support to the African Summit on Social Economy in Mali, and worked in a community setting in Senegal. Éléonore also has experience in youth employment, thanks to a four-year mandate at Emploi-Québec, expertise that she uses daily to support international interns. She takes a great interest in the professionalization of the volunteer cooperation. She supports and collaborates on a training program in international cooperation at the Faculty of Continuing Education at Université de Montréal.

Melisande Masson

Mélisande Masson est une jeune juriste qui oeuvre en matière de genre. Fortement intéressée dans l’état du droit dans différents systèmes juridiques, Mélisande a étudié et travaillé dans divers pays, dont l’Angleterre et la Chine. Au Nicaragua, Mélisande a travaillé en tant qu'agente de promotion des droits de la femme auprès du Colectivo de Mujeres 8 de Marzo et s'est ensuite jointe à l'équipe de Cuso International au Nicaragua en tant que conseillère en matière de genre.

Melisande joined the Cuso International team in Nicaragua as a gender advisor after working as a women's rights advocate at “Colectivo de Mujeres 8 de Marzo”.

Daniel Caramori

Daniel a été volontaire comme Conseiller en appui aux volontaires et Conseiller en Ressources Humaines, et a collaboré au déploiement du programme Uniterra en Mongolie. Auparavant, Daniel a travaillé au Brésil, en Argentine, au Canada, aux Pays-Bas et en Russie, pour des starts-ups dans le domaine de la formation, pour des projets d’innovation sociale et au développement du leadership chez les jeunes. Daniel détient un baccalauréat en gestion de l’Université de São Paulo et effectue actuellement une maîtrise en Sciences Politiques à l’Université de Montréal.

Daniel Caramori

Daniel volunteered as Volunteer Support Advisor and Human Resources Advisor for the Uniterra Program in Mongolia, conducting training on strategic HR management, leadership and intercultural issues. He has experience working in Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Netherlands and Russia; and he has worked with education start-ups, social innovation projects and youth leadership development. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Political Science at Université de Montréal.

Richard Zereik

Richard Zereik has over 24 years of international experience. He has held senior management positions in organizations concerned with humanitarian emergencies, international, youth and community development and Higher education, including 13 years with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), three years at Concordia University and eight years at McGill University.

Richard is currently a member in the Committee of Experts in Risk Management and Security of the Observatoire canadien sur les crises et l’action humanitaires (OCCAH), a psychosocial support care unit focal point for MSF, and an international experiences Coach, Advisor & Mentor. He sits on the International Association of Student Affairs and Services’ (IASAS) Board of Management and is their Regional Coordinator for Canada. He is a member of the Advisory Committees of the Salon1861 and of La Présence QI (Quartier de l’innovation) and is a board member of the Impact Hub Montreal. He has worked in many countries around the world, including Guyana, Armenia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Sudan (Darfur), Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Western Kenya, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
